Over the years, MW has helped numerous customers improve and streamline their scrap metal handling procedures. When GM spun off the Delphi division in the late 1990s, MW secured a contract to manage materials at 35 North American scrap-generating Delphi plant locations. As a result, MW earned a reputation as a reliable and trusted partner for large, multi-location manufacturing concerns.

Recently, MW assisted staff at a 5 million square foot manufacturing facility in identifying and resolving inefficiencies in their material handling processes. In many instances, scrap was being handled as much as twelve different times prior to leaving the plant. The challenge was resolved by keeping distribution points closer to the generating areas at the site. After allowing MW to do its deep dive and make and implement new procedures, the customer experienced a significant increase in operational efficiency and cost savings.
