Additionally, data contained within Plexer™ can be accessed through GAD Solutions’ external APIs using BI and AI tools such as the Microsoft Power platform. Along the same line, Plexer’s SaaS processing model with a scalable user-based approach, eliminates the upfront licensing costs, breaking down barriers for smaller organizations that find these expenses prohibitive.

Evolving beyond its initial focus, the solution has expanded its support to geotechnical, hydrological, and environmental departments, addressing common data acquisition and validation challenges across various domains.

Hosted on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform with SQL database as the backend, the web application allows swift data collection and validation which ensures data integrity, facilitating agile resource modeling. In addition to the web application, the company has extended its solutions to two cross-platform mobile applications, each serving in distinct ways. One focuses on facilitating rapid collection, tagging and upload of core photos, while the other enables offline field logging, providing a comprehensive solution for collecting and documenting geological observations in the field.

In one instance, a client was struggling with the collection of tens of thousands of photos annually across various devices, and thirdparty contractors found it daunting to rename and catalog them, often resulting in data loss. GAD Solutions, by implementing its Plexer™ solution, allowed seamless collection of photos with associated metadata and synchronization to the Plexer™ photo library. It eliminated the risk of data and photo loss, stamping out the need for manual processes like emailing and renaming photos.
